Summer is in full swing, and if you are like me, that means you are going to have lots kids coming over to play! This means with lots of kids, of varying ages coming in and out of my home, it’s imperative we keep the essentials stocked throughout the house!
Whether you are hosting a pool party for the kids, a toddler play date, or a backyard BBQ with the family for the 4th of July, here is the perfect list to make sure you have everything you need!
Essentials for Summer Play dates
Food
Okay this is obviously a no brainer, but come on, during the summer it seems as if kids eat 100x’s more than they do during the school year! Some days we may have as many as 7 kids at our home, and I promise no matter what types of snacks or even meals that I prepare, they are still hungry.
There are lots of healthy options available; such as smoothies , pizza, and other quick recipes that are sure to be a hit for your guests! Whatever the case, make sure you have lots of food stocked up, especially if you have teenagers like I do!
Toilet Paper
This is one thing that you will never want to run out of, especially if there are little kids around!
Cottonelle Mega Roll has been a life saver for our family of 6. The last thing I want is to be stuck without any toilet paper in my home; it’s happened before, and while Walmart, now has the super convenient grocery pick-up, you still
don’t want to miss any fun times with the family because you had to make a run to the store.
I make sure that we stock up on enough Cottonelle Bath Tissue in the house at all times. What I love the most is that 1 Mega Roll=4 regular roll, how amazing is that?
Patience
I know this may seem like an odd thing to add to the list, however, it is something that is definitely needed. It’s important to remember they are kids. They grow up so quickly, and before you know it, they are off to college. So don’t get too bent out shape when things go awry or if they get too loud or rowdy during a play date.
If you are headed to the pool or beach this summer, don’t forget to bring the Cottonelle! For more on this product check out Ibotta for coupons and other offers!
