48 Hour Vegas Getaway

May 28, 2018 in Travel
quick Vegas getaway

We decided to take an impromptu trip to Vegas for a little kid-free R&R time. If you’ve never done the last minute trip sans kids, then you need to at least once.

I saw that Frontier an airline was offering a ligthening deal for an $18 flight to Vegas, pair that with an awesome Living Social hotel deal, and you have a great trip without breaking the bank. We rarely have a chance to get a quick escape, so it was important to us that we take advantage of the opportunity before the summer came and things got extra hectic for us.

My husband absolutely loves cars. So I thought it would be fun if we rented a luxury vehicle while there and took a nice drive through the desert. For me, it was all about giving my husband the opportunity to do something that he has always dreamed of (he does support everything that I do, so why not?)

Of course, while there we also got to eat at some of my favorite spots including Heart Attack Grill & Giada.

This trip was all about us living in the moment and being able to reconnect with one another.

Being the parents of young children (and multiple ones at that) there are times where it’s hard for us to get the time together that we need. I have always heard how important it is to continue to date your spouse.

Here are a few more shots from our trip.
