Looking for a gift your toddler will actually like more than the box?
Here are the nine gifts that are virtually guaranteed to delight from the moment they’re opened.
Sarah’s newest favorite toy is the pebbles from Water & Lightening. Here is a bit about the company:
Established in 2015, Water and Lightning Toy Company makes simple wood toys that connect kids to nature. We aim to create toys that provide the kind of play that is only limited by the range of a child’s imagination. Our pebbles, sticks and stones are our simple and humble invitation to play.
Our Sticks & Stones were inspired by the amazing things that you find on the ground while exploring the outdoors. Each set comes with two sticks and six stone-shaped blocks in different shapes and sizes. The blocks were designed and handcrafted to be one of a kind.
Our Pebbles are a simple and minimal set of wooden stacking blocks that come in six pieces. Inspired by the wonderfully colorful rocks found in lakes and beaches, each piece is carefully handcrafted to be unique. No two pieces are alike.
If you have a little one who absolutely loves to nature or who just loves to stack and build things, this is a must-have for the holidays!
Picasso Tiles are great for encouraging open-ended, creative play and developing math, science, spacial and fine motor skills. The magnetic sides inspire little builders to think “outside the box.” What’s even better is that these are great to take along if you are traveling during the holidays or eating out, as they will definitely keep your child busy!
My youngest loves to play with all sorts of blocks. So this was the perfect item that completed the Picasso Tiles. If you aren’t a major fan of plastic items, then this is a great choice.
Even though it’s winter, I love that I can still use this table indoors. It’s not huge and bulky, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in our home. This allows Sarah to still enjoy her water play activities indoors during the winter months.
Wanderlust has been added to our calendar in 2018. I absolutely love this adorable little luggage set. This is perfect for little ones who are getting ready to embark on their first travels.
This will more than likely make the gift guide every single year! We have this kitchen set and my girls absolutely love it. Of course with it being from IKEA there are so many hacks that you can do to personalize it and make it your own!
What I like about this toy is that even though is very simple, it’s one of the toys that will literally provide your kids with the most fun! I have to admit I enjoy sitting around and playing with this, sometimes even when the kids aren’t around!
If you have a little one who is just learning to ride a bike or trike this is the cutest little start bike. Balance bikes are a replacement for tricycles and training wheels as they are designed to be used during the ages that a child would typically ride a tricycle or use training wheels. With the skills learned from a balance bike, riders as young a 3 years old transition straight to regular kids bike without the assistance of training wheels.
