Back to School Meal Prep with Sistema®

August 8, 2018 in Lifestyle

This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Sistema®; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

We have had a fun and eventful summer thus far. Even though we are about halfway through, there is still plenty of time for us to get in a few last minute vacations, as well as some more much needed R&R before the hectic-ness of sending four kids to four different schools (plus expecting a new baby just before Christmas) kicks in.

There have been a lot of things that I have started planning for the school year. Such as my route (because three kids get out school within ten minutes of one another), after-school schedules,  and most importantly, their lunches.

Even though our district provides free lunch to every student, my kids still prefer to bring their own lunches from home. As a parent, I like that I am able to still somewhat control what they are eating this way I can make sure they are eating healthy and properly balanced meals even while away from me.

Sistema® To Go products have been a great way for me to ensure I sending healthy ratios with them, and since I am able to purchase many of the items in packs, I can get everything we need relatively easily.

The Sistema® Salad Kit, Sandwich Box 3 pk, and Small Split make packing lunches for my kids (and even my husband) easy.

The Salad Kit, is my teen’s favorite item, as it allows her to pack her favorite (pasta salad or chicken salad) on the bottom while allowing her to have her combination snacks on top, as well as dressing if needed. Because her backpack is so full of books and notebooks, it easily fits across the top until she makes it to school to put it in her locker.

When packing for my three younger children (Pre-K-5th), the sandwich boxes and small split are great ways to give them the variety that they need, without everything being crowded in one space (are my kids the only ones that hate to have their food touch?).

With Sistema® To Go products, I don’t have to worry about getting everyone’s lunches organized and packed for this school year!

Want to give Sistema® a try? Between August 8-August 14, you can save on the Sistema® To Go Collection Bento Box, Clear with Assorted Colors!

How do you prepare your kids lunches? Let me know in the comments below!
