I am always looking for stylish shoes to add to my collection. I’ll admit that with five kids, I don’t often take the opportunity to shop for myself like I want to.
The times when I do make the effort to do so, it’s usually a painstaking process. I don’t really have a lot of time (or patience) to always keep up with the latest fashion trends. This means I have to find brands that I know and trust will already have that end taken care of for me.
Nine West
I have been a huge fan of Nine West shoes ever since I could remember.
Being a mom doesn’t mean I have to slum it in yoga pants and sneakers constantly. I love being able to dress up with a great pair of shoes.
One of my new favorite shoes is the Anikol Embellished Flats. These gorgeous flats have a cluster of jewels that punctuates the vamp of our open-sided flats styled with a pointy toe.
These have been perfect for our Saturday morning outings as a family, as well as for a casual date night dinner with my husband.
Being able to have a pair of shoes that’s not only this beautiful but also versatile is key! Remember the five kids? Needless to say, closet space in our home comes at a premium! So there isn’t much room available for a ton of shoes, so I love that I can have one pair that I can wear for almost any occasion!
Shoes for baby
Aaryn is still in the stage where she has a love/hate relationship with anything on her feet. The Phoebeflor Flat is perfect for her and I love that I can also dress them up or down for her as well! One thing I have learned is that with babies you want to keep it as simple as possible!
Aaryn has been able to wear her flats to church, brunch dates with mom and dad, and on visits to nana and papas house(of course they fell head over heels with her little shoes!).
Honestly, I never thought I would have a baby who would be so easy to dress up and be able to put shoes on her (and have her keep them on!).
Even when Aaryn and I are just relaxing in the nursery before heading out, it’s fun for us to play a little dress up or have a fun little photo shoot to show off our mommy/daughter style!
