I love indoor trampoline parks. When living in Boston, we were there on a regular basis in the winter because of the cold weather and while in South Carolina we are there on a regular basis because of the summer heat.
What could be better than paying $10 for your children to go jump for 90 minutes? They leave me alone and I don’t have to hear “Mommy look at this” because they are so busy having fun, they could care less whether or not I was looking.
For that blissful 90 minutes, I can drink my coffee, read a book and tune out the 30 other screaming kids. It’s not like the playground where you have to worry about someone getting hurt, for the most part, these places are pretty safe and the worst injury we’ve had was a rug-burn like scratch from the youngest crawling around like a dog.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the many wonderful business owners who operate these establishments. You are the McDonald’s Playplace without the junk food and horrible smell.
