Considering how hot the weather has been it’s right on time! One of my favorite things about summer is ice cream, but I had no clue there was a National Ice Cream month until just recently. In fact, National Ice Cream Day is the third Sunday in July. So keep an eye out for special activities in your area.
If you are an ice cream lover, then you will fall in love with this delicious s’mores ice cream sundae. I have recently fallen in love with Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream, and it’s become my #1 favorite flavor for summer 2018. I was so excited that a local place Sweet Cream Co. carried it. We went to visit last week and then I also discovered they had a delicious maple walnut flavor, that’s when I knew my personal heaven would somehow involve ice cream.
It was so amazing, even the Aidan liked it. He’s not even an ice cream fan. Kicking off our July with ice cream cones on a 100-degree day is really the ideal summer. When my children look back on this days years from now, I hope they remember all of the fun they had. That’s really I want for them.
