Venturing out to Soda City has been a Saturday tradition for us for quite some time now. Locate on Main Street, Soda City is a market located in downtown Columbia, South Carolina.
Why is called Soda City?
Honestly, its taken me YEARS to finally put two and two together, but in short when you abbreviate Columbia, its “Cola”, thus you get Soda City.
What makes it great?
If you are looking for something fun to do, heading out to Soda City on Saturdays is perfect. There are so many vendors and so many tasty treats to try as well. Also with the market being near the Columbia Museum of Art, its a wonder opportunity to “make a day” out of exploring downtown Columbia.
