Merry Christmas Eve!! We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday. If you’re spending time with the little ones this evening, here are a few of my favorite books to read to my children on Christmas Eve.
Home Alone (Quirk Books)
Classic. I was so excited to receive this book, it’s one of my favorite holiday movies. The children loved reading this so much. This is the book we read aloud when all of the kids get to the house!
Christmas movie or Halloween movie? You decide. This fun book is a great read aloud throughout the year for families, but around Christmas is the time we love to read this book.
Die Hard* (for Adults Only)
This is a great book for adults only. If you and your significant other love the debate over whether or not this is a Christmas movie, then let this book settle that for you.
A holiday classic that everyone will love. We watched The Battle of the Nutcrackers on Ovation/BBC America. It’s one of our holiday traditions. As Audrey gets older she’s starting to understand the story. There are so many different versions out there, so just grab a copy and read!
Do you have any books you read as a family on Christmas Eve? If so let us know what they are!
