Great Fall South Carolina Hikes For You and Your Dog

November 1, 2019 in #DiscoverSC, South Carolina Travel

Fall is here and boy am I happy! With the unbearable heat of the summer is was nearly impossible to get out and do anything fun towards the end.
Now it’s time to turn on our weekend warrior sign and get going with these great fall hikes for you and your dog.

If you’re like me, not only do you want to get in a great workout, but you also want to take some exciting photos as well; check out my recommendations below!

Twins Falls
I have always loved Twin Falls. It’s one of the state’s more beautiful and serene locations. Twin Falls in Sunset, SC. To access the waterfall is an easy 15-minute walk along the .25 mile trail.

Rainbow Falls

If you’re more experienced ( and adventurous) how about a hike up Rainbow Falls? It’s a five-mile hike, but once you reach the destination the view is absolutely breathtaking. Can you image photos here? This rugged trail is absolutely perfect for the couple looking for capturing unique lifestyle photos for their upcoming engagement session. Pretty Place church at the top of the trail is well worth the hike, with magnificent photos waiting for you!

Isaqueena Falls and Stumphouse tunnel

Hike to Issaqueena Falls and Stumphouse Tunnel if you are looking for a fun and unique trip reminiscent of a pacific northwest adventure. This trail is perfect for beginners, so those wanting unique outdoor photos, but not yet ready to take on the more strenuous trails would love this place! With a 200 foot cascading waterfall, Isaqueena Falls is perfect year-round for photography.
