I Am Enough is the picture book everyone needs.
This is a gorgeous, lyrical ode to loving who you are, respecting others, and being kind to one another—from Empire actor and activist Grace Byers and talented newcomer artist Keturah A. Bobo.
This is the perfect gift for mothers and daughters, baby showers, and graduation.
We are all here for a purpose. We are more than enough. We just need to believe it.
My Review of I Am Enough
The message of this book is powerful, yet simple. My six-year-old daughter and I read this book, she immediately requested a reread. This sparked conversations with both children on positive self-images and loving everything about you, even if it’s different.
Coupled with beautiful (I do mean beautiful) illustrations by Keturah A. Bobo, I Am Enough seeks to serve us a good old-fashioned dose of self-confidence and self-esteem through a series of poetic like affirmations. The words are uplifting, providing a great foundation for young children to begin to learn about self-esteem.
This is a wonderful book to use during guidance lessons. Highly recommended.
