Keeping Track of My Health and My Children’s

November 14, 2018 in Lifestyle

This post is sponsored by CATALO, however, all opinions are my own.

The third trimester of my pregnancy was rough. Moreso than I remember with my previous pregnancies. I started a new job at 34 weeks pregnant, and although I worked from home, I still had to maintain with a very active four-year-old all day. Couple that with the already early mornings and late nights that I had with the other kids, I was just exhausted.

One thing this pregnancy made me realized (especially since I was considered to be in the Advanced Maternal Age category), was that I needed to do more when it comes to making sure that I remain in tip-top shape. Because of that, I started using supplements during my third trimester. This also led me to add supplements to my children’s diets as well, just to give them an extra boost!

The decision to supplement was one that I made sure that thoroughly researched as much as possible. I wanted something that was suitable for pregnancy so that it met my own needs (as well as for the postpartum period), along with something that worked for my children’s health needs as well.

Bringing Natural to Our Health

We opted to use CATALO supplements, as I wanted a product that did not contain any chemicals or synthetic additives, and that I also could use on a daily basis.

The prenatal stage as it is the most critical time for women to acknowledge the need for good nutrition with a lasting contribution to pregnancy and the rest of their lives. CATALO cater to individual nutritional needs through a wide spectrum of products made with premium ingredients.

Prenatal products to enhance your health

CATALO Vegetarian Calcium Formula This is a vegetarian-friendly prenatal supplement that is calcium-rich in Aquamin™ red algae and acerola, cherry for extra vitamin C along. This particular formula helps to maintain hone health, supports a healthy pregnancy and increase nutrition absorption.

CATALO Vegetarian Folic Acid from Lemon Peel : A bioactive formula that is extracted from organic lemon peel contains 800mcg folic acid per serving, allows you to reach the Recommended Daily intake with just 2 capsules; it’s also vital to support for healthy pregnancy and made by advanced technology to ensure purity and bioavailability

For Kids

For my kids, we wanted to really focus on their eye health among other things. Children’s Eye Health is formulated with taurine and zinc and helps to support the healthy vision of children. It also contains a vanilla flavor, so it has a taste that makes it easy for the kids to chew!

Do you supplement? If so let me know in the comments below!
