Meet Your New Favorite Hands-Free Wearable Breast Pump-Willow

July 10, 2018 in Breastfeeding

I am still a few months out from giving birth, but one product that I am most excited about using with baby #5, is the Willow Pump. I have been fortunate to be able to breastfeed all four of my previous children, and I am hoping that I will be able to do the same this time!

What makes Willow different?

I honestly, don’t even know where to begin! First and only all-in-one mobile breast pump that fits inside of a nursing bra. Unlike traditional breast pumps, there are no tubes to connect and disconnect, no wires, no outlets needed (except to charge the individual pumps), and most importantly, no bottles to connect and disconnect.

Why this pump is ideal for moms everywhere

Willow makes pumping super easy by allowing you to continue on with your daily activities. I have four older children; it’s important that I am not tied down to a pump or outlet like I have been previously. This means no more praying that I don’t leak through my breast pad during the ballet, or having to run to the car during my son’s golf game. I can pump and still be the active and present mom. (Including reading Christmas books year round)

Is it like other pumps?

Yes and no. Besides the obvious key physical differences with the Willow, there is a learning curve as well. It’s recommended that you use it for at least 7 days consecutively starting out. Because the baby isn’t here yet, I haven’t tried it , but I have been practicing trying to correctly align it. Once you figure out the alignment you should be good to go.

Willow also connects to your iPhone so you can monitor how much you are pumping, as you are actually pumping!  You can even look back at your pumping history as well. Additionally, the app provides you with access to training videos and various tutorials.

Also, Willow comes with complimentary coaching calls with every purchase. This is a major plus when trying to use any pump. Even though I am used to pumping and breastfeeding, it can still be very overwhelming the first few days.

How do I know what size flange I need?

Willow has a handy chart here to help you figure that out. Don’t worry about your boobs being too huge. That’s not what matters, it’s the nipple size. Currently, the flanges are available in two sizes: 24mm and 27mm.

Overall, if you are a new/expecting mom or veteran mom who is planning on breastfeeding, I highly recommend checking the Willow. For more on the Willow Pump, check out my YouTube video below!

Thank you to Willow for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.

Wow, It’s a great gift item for the mom who has a baby. One of my cousins recently became a new mom. I want to get this one for her hope, so she will be happy to see this. And it will be the best gift for her. Thanks for the giving me a chance to win this.
