I was provided with two items from prAna to facilitate this review. However, all opinions are my own.
When it comes to finding fashionable clothing that isn’t tight or revealing and that lets me be comfortable in my own skin, I have to say that I have a pretty hard time. Between my co-editor and I, we have six kids, so shopping for ourselves is never at the top of our list.
prAna Sustainable Clothing
Between school drop offs and pick ups, golf, dance, and so on, we just want to be comfortable in the clothing that we choose to wear. This is where prAna sustainable clothing comes in.
All of the clothing items are mindfully made in order to support fair trade and sustainable practices. prAna designs clothing that looks good but is versatile enough for any lifestyle and any adventure…or you know chasing around kids on a regular basis!
My two favorite items are the Uptown Pant (I have in in Cargo Green) and the Salinda Top (Winter Ditsy Floral).
The pants have a drawstring elastic waist which works perfectly for me, and they feel absolutely great! The pants are versatile enough to where I was able to wear ballet flats in the morning when I dropped the kids off at school and then I was able to throw on a pair of black strappy high heels when I met a friend for lunch; then putting on a pair of sneakers as I went to my sons golf lesson.
The top (which my sister/co-editor) also fell in love with looks great with any outfit. Even though it was nearly 90 degrees here, the shirt kept me cool (which was definitely needed).
The designers of the clothing items at prAna create and test all of prAna’s clothing based on their own love for outdoor activities. How awesome is that?
More than ever, people just like you and me are seeking ways to spread positivity in our country. One way to do that is to make sure every purchase you make and every gift you give has a positive impact on our planet. prAna offers organic, hemp, sustainable, and fair trade items so that consumers feel great about the things they wear and the items they give.
