If I can be EXTREMELY vulnerable for a moment, let me say that it has been a very long two and a half months! Like families everywhere, our kitchen table and living room have become classrooms, siblings have become the only ones to play with during recess, and extracurricular lessons are taking place via the internet.
Taking care of our children’s social and emotional needs has been a task, but I would not have been able to do it without my children’s teachers! During this time they checked on us frequently, and my girls’ teachers were readily available to answer any questions that I had. While I could never replace their teachers, I can make sure that we show our appreciation to them anyway we can!

Their amazing teachers have made sure that they have everything they need at home to make this transition successful. Everything except for their school stomachs!

Even though our days are long and busy, one thing that I do not have to worry about is making sure that my kids are still getting wholesome snacks. Quaker Kids Organic Whole Grain Bars and Bites help make snack time one of the easiest parts of a busy day. They contain no artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup, contain5-6g of sugar, and it is Certified Organic, and Non-GMO Project verified.
The girls loved being able to create fun crafts for their teachers. As a huge thank you, they decorated a shirt and picture frame to give them during the drive through parade we are having! How are you telling your kids teachers thank you during this time?
