Over the years Audrey has acquired a lot of princess dresses. I started finding dresses on eBay, then one day while planning a shoot for a client I came across an amazing vendor on Etsy Heartfelt Costumes. She made some amazing dresses for my client’s fairy tale shoot and since I have ordered several more dresses from her.
Unfortunately, she’s on hiatus until next year (sad face), but there are a several other amazing Etsy vendors I highly recommend that I want to share.
I know it may seem a little crazy to begin thinking about Halloween now, but before you know it, the holiday will be here and you’ll be scrounging over the aisles for left costumes (at least that’s what happened to us last year).
Finding great quality costumes at a reasonable price can be so difficult, but, I have used all of the vendors listed below for myself or clients and I can attest to the quality of their work and their customer service. Four years later many of these dresses are still in wonderful useable condition.
As stated earlier, the shop is on break until next year. But add it to your favorites and check back as she is currently taking orders for next year.
Here are few of our favorite handmade dresses.
If you are a fan of cosplay or have a bigger budget I highly recommend the following vendors.
This Resilient Survivor dress will actually be used for the kids and me birthday photos later this year. Since we share a birthday month and all of us love Star Wars we are doing a formal twist to classic costume photos this year. I can’t wait to share the results!
We do a lot of photo shoots with the dresses–in fact this year I’m working on a personal project with the kids. We are taking their favorite stories and recreating them for photos. I’ll be sharing some of the photos from our shoots soon!
Check out Audrey’s birthday photo from last year.
