I 100% love popcorn. When I was a kid my youngest uncle was a only a teenager (there was a ten year age difference between us) and he worked at a local movie theater. I would get so excited when he would take us to work with him and one of the smells that I remember was extra buttery movie theater popcorn!
It sounds so weird to even say that out loud (and the fact that I am ridiculously excited about that memory), but it was one of the major highlights of my childhood (that and we literally sat in the theater and watched The Little Mermaid 4 times in one day while he worked-but don’t tell my mom!).
We love our family movie nights. This week I wanted to switch things up again with my sister’s Red Velvet Popcorn recipe. Valentine’s Day is approaching and I thought this would be an awesome Valentine’s Day themed snack for the family to enjoy. Of course we won’t be watching sappy love stories with the kids, but we may watch “Beauty & the Beast” since it was such an exciting film!
