Winter Treats: Berry Limeades

January 1, 2018 in Food

Summer is over, however, for my family that doesn’t mean that we can’t still enjoy our favorite treats during cooler weather.

Even though it’s cold outside, that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy this fun summer drink.

This is the perfect drink for family movie nights or watching a game on television together, and it’s also something fun that the kids can help make as well.

Do you have a holiday party coming up? Try putting a creative spin on this fun drink and I guarantee it’ll be the hit of the party!

Berry Limeades

Serves 8 to 10

Cook/Prep time: 1.5 hours

10 oz Fresh berries (the type of your choice)

1 cup of sugar or honey

1 tsp lime zest

Combine berries, sugar or honey, lime zest, and juice. Let stand and stir occasionally until sugar is completed dissolved (takes about one hour). Keep in airtight container refrigerated.
